This position works under the direction of the Director of Business Development. Responsibilities include cultivating referral relationships, managing assigned territory, and completing patient assessments.
Key duties
include making sales contacts, analyzing referral and admission data from the assigned territory, and collaborating with the admissions team, nursing staff, and other internal and external staff to facilitate the referral conversion. The role provides feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral and admission process, and patient and referral source satisfaction. It also involves developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders including prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives. Qualifications
Education and Training: Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required. Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred. Experience: A minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license, preferably with rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience. Job Details
