Radiology Technologist, First Shift, Pain Management Clinic UC Health is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist for the pain management clinic for first shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We are offering up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus! A Radiology Technologist will support the University of Cincinnati Medical Center’s Pain Management Clinic and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic radiographs of the human body using independent judgment to determine the quality of radiographs and compliance with established protocols. Associate's degree required. 1 – 3 years of experience preferred. Communicates in a clear and appropriate manner with patients and staff while being able to identify and respond to varying needs. Performs diagnostic procedures by reviewing patient history, communicating what will occur, and following all established protocols and safety measures. Ensures patient and staff safety by providing protection equipment, regulating time and intensity of exposure, and utilizing equipment correctly. Reviews images for diagnostic acceptability and maintains appropriate record-keeping and quality control. Prepares and administers contrast media under physician direction, practices sterile techniques to prevent the spread of disease, and assists in administering emergency procedures as needed. Participates in continuing education activities related to the field of Radiologic Technology and its subspecialties.
