Compensation:
$20-$25/hour, commensurate with experience
Clinic Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (No weekends!)
Schedule:
4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday)

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
to join our collaborative and supportive team.

What We’re Looking For
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in Michigan or ability to obtain licensure
Strong technical skills in surgical monitoring, anesthesia, dentistry, dental radiographs, and laboratory work
Team player who is flexible, dependable, and ready to jump in where needed
Benefits
PTO – 80 hours plus additional PTO based on years of service

Responsibilities
In‑patient medical care: administer medications, assist or perform treatments, diagnostics, monitoring, IV catheter placement, blood draws, lab tests, IV fluids, cleaning, feeding, and walking patients
Anesthesia/Surgery preparation, induction, maintenance, monitoring, recovery, and equipment cleaning/sterilization
Dental care: ultrasonic cleaning and polishing, surgical assistance
Radiology: patient positioning and radiograph assistance, email upload
Laboratory duties: sample collection, preparation, and submission; record results
Invoice and discharge instruction preparation; client communication for hospitalized patients
Patient education on at‑home care procedures
Clinic technician duties: support outpatient appointments, restock, clean exam rooms, check‑in/out, vital signs, data entry
Reception/front desk duties as needed (phone answering, appointments, admissions/discharges)
Training and mentoring new team members
Inventory control assistance: product restocking, unpacking, reporting low stock
Prescription preparation and dispensing of medications and refills
Qualifications
LVT licensure in Michigan (or ability to obtain)
Physical capability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs alone or with a coworker
Endurance for extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking on hard floors
Ability to work in noisy environments with moderate sounds from animals and equipment
Capability to handle potential bites, scratches, anesthesia, radiation, and biological hazards
Good hand‑eye coordination, manual dexterity, visual acuity for keyboard and equipment operation
