The per diem Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing high quality direct medical care to the students at Keene State College (KSC) including diagnosing and treatment of various medical conditions.

Duties/Responsibilities

Provides urgent/acute health care for students while collaborating with, referring to, and consulting with other departments appropriately.

Possess and maintain licensure for Nurse Practitioner as well as the DEA registration for independent prescriptive authority.

Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.

Collaborate with and provide clinical support to the registered nursing staff and phlebotomist by establishing and enforcing policies, procedures and protocols.

Educate and promote wellness as an integrated component of daily work as well as through programmatic opportunities.

Requirements

Master’s Degree or higher and licensed Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Hampshire.

Required Licenses & Certifications

Licensed Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Hampshire.

DEA registration for independent prescriptive authority.

CPR certified/BLS certification.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills.
