Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
to join our team at Absolut Care of Aurora Park skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. If you are passionate about helping individuals improve communication and swallowing abilities, this is the perfect opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
Document patient progress, treatment goals, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines.
Provide education and support to residents, families, and caregivers.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current NYS license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) OR Clinical Fellow (CFY) eligibility.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
