Job Description Paramount Pharmacy in Piscataway is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, provide excellent pharmaceutical care, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
Maintain accurate records and responsibly manage controlled substances.
Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve patient care.
Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
Job Requirements
Valid state-required pharmacist license.
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting (preferred).
Skills
Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
Proficiency with pharmacy management software systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
