Are you a skilled and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) looking for a part-time opportunity where you can put your advanced clinical skills to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment? Dental Health in Brattleboro, VT is currently seeking a dedicated EFDA to join our team 20-25 hours per week, delivering high-quality care across a variety of procedures.

$30-$35/hour based on experience Part-time role: 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday (no weekends) Flexible scheduling with 1-hour lunch breaks

What You’ll Do As An EFDA
Place composite and amalgam restorations, sealants, liners, and bases Take impressions for crowns, bridges, and removable appliances Provide fluoride treatments and coronal polishing Assist chairside during restorative and surgical procedures Take and process digital x-rays Administer topical anesthetics as permitted by state regulations Deliver thorough pre- and post-op patient instructions Maintain sterilization protocols and treatment room readiness Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant environment
What We’re Looking For
Certified EFDA (or eligible to obtain) Graduate of a CODA-accredited EFDA program Radiology and CPR certified Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills A reliable, team-oriented mindset and passion for patient care
