Description
We are currently seeking a skilled MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Radiology. As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using medical imaging techniques. Your expertise will be vital in providing accurate and timely diagnoses, contributing to the overall well-being of patients.
In this role, you will be involved in a variety of projects, including interpreting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging procedures to help physicians make informed decisions about patient care. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes, making this position both challenging and rewarding.
Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze diagnostic images to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Consult with referring physicians to discuss patient cases and provide recommendations.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of radiology reports.
Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Perform interventional procedures such as biopsies and drainage as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the radiology department.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss complex cases.
Requirements:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Radiology.
Valid state medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnostic interpretations.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 on/7 off, or 7 on/14 off
Shifts: 8a-5p, 2p-11p, or 11p-8a
Call Requirement: 1:4 weekend call rotation if working Monday-Friday
Setting: 100% remote
Cases: Mostly general DX; some neuro, body, or MSK available
Workstation provided
Must be board-certified
