Assist in providing clinical care to office patients as delegated by the supervising provider. Manage the provider’s daily schedule and patient flow to expedite care and maximize clinical time. Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, check two-patient identifiers, and communicate task status to the provider. Obtain relevant information and take vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, etc.). Input clinical information into the electronic health record accurately and timely, and collect home medication lists. Assist clinicians with procedures and tests, keep patients informed about visit status, and manage exam rooms and supplies. Administer routine injections under supervision, document accurately, and participate in meetings and trainings. Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and stay current with healthcare resources. Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant with post-secondary training. Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers. Proficient with electronic medical records and office applications. Minimum of two years’ clinical experience preferred. Position Details
Purpose: Provide high-quality support in the MACC practice, delivering excellent customer service. Schedule: 16 hours/week, M-F, no weekends or holidays. Sign-on bonus available. Organization & Location
