School District 27J . Position overview: The candidate will assume the role of Coach and help direct an athletic program. All coaches report to the Athletic Director who oversees the athletic program. Responsibilities include:
Supervising and coaching student athletes at all levels. Collaborating with assistant and volunteer coaches. Communicating with the athletic director and secretary regarding student needs and concerns. Assisting with fundraisers, camps, awards, and other events. Supervising instructional and conditioning camps. Engaging with athletes, parents, and the community. Supporting academic eligibility and promoting student-athletes. Following league, district, and CHSAA policies. Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience in the specific sport required. Knowledge of sport-specific skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to obtain CHSAA certification. Additional Information:
Compensation is stipend-based according to the experience schedule in the Master Agreement (see page 84 of the provided link). Coaching positions are not eligible for medical benefits from 27J.
