Part‑time position. Exempt Status: Non‑exempt.
Position Highlights
$18.47‑$22.62 DOE, with potential to be higher for highly experienced candidates.
Additional 4% differential for bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
What You’ll Do
Maintain and update reports and registries for the PCHH team, overseeing outreach, scheduling, and documentation. Review registry data to ensure compliance with workflows and procedures.
Perform audits for invasive procedures and in‑house labs, and other PCHH data initiatives, providing audit documentation and communicating process‑improvement ideas to staff.
Assist with Release of Information forms, subpoenas, and court orders, forwarding them to the HIM department. Sort and distribute mail and faxes to appropriate recipients.
Provide obstetrics support by running reports, maintaining the OB log, and providing consent forms to the hospital. Offer chart‑review support to PAs and NPs, forwarding reviews to physicians, and maintaining a log.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or certificate from an accredited technical school preferred.
One year of experience working in an office setting, preferably a medical or dental office.
Two years of experience in a medical or dental office preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Ability to communicate at level 9 on the language‑proficiency scale to receive bilingual differential pay.
Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions.
Ability to effectively interact with patients, providers and staff in a professional manner.
Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Electronic Medical Records, Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology desired.
