Radiologic Technologist - Breast Imaging
Join Mayo Clinic as a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Breast Imaging. This full-time position features variable hours and a schedule that includes 12-hour weekend shifts with on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet MQSA standards and Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
Operates a variety of imaging equipment and technologies with demonstrated competence as determined by competency assessments.
Follows proper safety guidelines for self, support personnel and patients.
Fosters teamwork through effective communication and ensures a high level of patient service through clear communication, technique and safety.
Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
Performs other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Qualifications
Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
Radiologic Technologist or Mammography experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
ARRT certified in Radiography
ARRT certified in Mammography within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees
Appropriate state licensure (if required by the state)
BLS certified

Compensation: $34.75 - 52.11 / hour

Hours/Pay Period: 72
Schedule Details: Monday through Friday variable 8-hour shifts starting at 7am
Weekend Schedule: 12-hour shifts every 8th weekend. Call every 18th weekend.
