We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-time and Full-time Dental Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and document vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse, as necessary.
Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures.
Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in patient records.
Assist in pediatric dentistry, providing care tailored to younger patients.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to enhance patient care.
Skills
Proficient in aseptic technique and infection control practices.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with documentation review processes in a clinical setting.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
