Quality Returns Verification Team is seeking a Technician to work onsite at our Austin facility.
This role focuses on computer system assembly, operation, debugging, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
Base pay: $25.00/hr - $27.00/hr.
Location: Austin, TX.
Key Qualifications
Organized with attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
Team player and capable of working independently.
Experience with computer system assembly, operation, and troubleshooting.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi‑task.
Key Responsibilities
System building – assemble and validate benchtop computer platforms.
System debugging – troubleshoot and resolve issues with platforms.
System maintenance – regular monitoring, maintenance, and assessment of platforms.
Flash BIOS versions, update firmware, install OS software.
Visual inspection and cleaning of CPUs.
Test CPUs on multiple systems using proprietary test suite and log results.
Inventory management of hardware and CPUs.
Shipping logistics – document and communicate with Global Logistics team on shipments.
Preferred Experience
2+ years of PC hardware assembly, operation, and debugging experience.
Experience in an ESD‑safe environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and issue tracking systems such as JIRA.
Previous inventory management experience.
Previous CPU testing experience.
Previous work in an RMA team role.
Academic Credentials
High school diploma or equivalent required.
