Responsibilities The Placement Stability Team Clinician will provide on‑site crisis intervention counseling and assessment of families’ needs in Volusia, Flagler, and Putnam counties. Services include phone contact and assessment, crisis response, face‑to‑face crisis assessment, crisis stabilization, short‑term intervention including psychotherapy, referral, and connection to service providers. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting skills training to assist the client and their families in overcoming the difficulties that led to the crisis and conducting ongoing assessment of needs.

Collaborating with other service providers in the community to help establish needed services.

Providing education to the client’s family and significant others regarding mental illness and how to support the client.

Providing in‑home services, therapeutic services with an interactive approach, and documenting therapeutic interventions in a timely manner.

Working closely with team members to coordinate services, meet client needs, and plan appropriate discharge.

Position Details Salary:

Starts at $50,000/year

Education Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field required.

Qualifications

Two years’ experience working directly with children and families; preferred experience with child abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or adjudicated delinquent youth.

Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida (preferred).

Bilingual (English‑Spanish speaking) preferred.

Schedule

On‑Call Schedule (rotating).

Other Requirements

Valid Florida driver’s license.

Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screening including drug screen and TB test.
