What You’ll Do As a
General Practice Technician , you’ll split your time between both our Plymouth and Ambler locations, supporting doctors in GP appointments and learning GP surgery skills. If you have GP nursing experience, we can train you in surgery — no prior surgical background required (though it’s a plus, especially in dentals).
Perform outpatient and inpatient care, including triage, diagnostics, treatments, and discharges
Assist in GP surgeries such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals
Administer and monitor anesthesia (training provided if needed)
Perform laboratory work, radiographs, medication administration (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
Maintain accurate medical records and patient logs (SOAPs)
Support surgery prep, instrument care, and post-op monitoring
Ensure exam rooms, surgical suites, and treatment areas remain clean and well-stocked
Anticipated Schedule
Full-time position , 4–5 days per week
Hours vary between Monday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Compensation
$18–$24/hr,
depending on experience and licensure

Requirements What We’re Looking For
GP nursing experience required (credentialed or non-credentialed technicians welcome)
Surgical experience preferred but not required (training provided)
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
Passion for patient care and client support
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends
