The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (e.g., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statues and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient-centered care. Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include: assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient. Estimated pay range for this position is $17.27 - $22.45 / hour depending on experience. Responsibilities

Provide basic technical nursing skills deemed competent and perform delegated tasks under RN supervision (e.g., wound care, discontinuing saline locks, discontinuing a Foley catheter). Collaborate with the assigned RN to deliver safe, patient-centered care. Support assessment and evaluation of care interventions under supervisor direction. Qualifications

Degrees: High School, GED. Licenses & Certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse; Basic Life Support; Certified Nursing Assistant. Additional Qualifications: CNA or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required; 2 years of experience preferred; prior experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in Florida preferred.
