as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in our in‑house skilled nursing facility located in Rice Lake, WI. This PRN (pro‑re‑natus) position offers flexible scheduling while supporting high‑quality resident care.
Job Purpose To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care at all times.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment based on scope of practice.
Develop and implement treatment plans, following short‑ and long‑term goals established by the supervising therapist.
Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members.
Document and bill occupational therapy services in compliance with CMS documentation standards.
Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
Education & Qualifications
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.
