Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based strategies to promote social-emotional development of young children by delivering a coaching model to caregivers (child care teachers and directors, parents) based on the Georgetown Model/Ohio Model of the Consultative Stance in early childhood centers.
Link families to resources to address mental/behavioral health challenges children may face.
Assist early childhood educators in understanding trauma and determining when to make referrals to mental health services.
Collect data as required in this role.

Qualifications
Required Degree:
Bachelor’s degree in related field with credential in OCPSA
Preferred Degree:
Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy
Required credential/licensure:
OCPSA, LSW, LPC, MFT
Preferred:
LISW, LPCC, IMFT
Preferred at least 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Mental Health
