Baylor Scott & White Health . Job location: Carrollton, TX. Employment type: Full-time. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00-5:30pm. On-call required (STEMI, approx. 8-9 days per month including one weekend; holidays rotate). Responsibilities

Helps Physicians with arteriograms/catheterizations, permanent pacemaker implantations, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, diagnostic and interventional procedures (peripheral and coronary), interventional and thrombolytic therapy. Follow radiation protection regulations for patients, self, and staff. Provide emergency procedures (CPR and defibrillation) as needed. Perform pre- and post-procedure care and monitoring. Orient patients for catheterization or electrophysiology procedures. Assist in running RF/Cryo ablation systems, 3D mapping, and document procedures. Manage and maintain images for stenosis testing, formatting, and processing on cardiac and peripheral cases; collect registry and quality data on forms. Prepare and maintain sterile fields; order and maintain inventory of procedure room supplies; ensure rooms are stocked and equipment is up to date. Coordinate and/or audit resources during inventories. Calibrate and maintain complex equipment; notify for repairs as needed. Assist in orientation and training of new staff; participate in quality control and improvement initiatives. Engage in governance, Lean initiatives, and committee work as requested; coordinate patient transport to/from procedural area. Demonstrate strong customer service skills. Qualifications

Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience; 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience preferred. Licensure/Certification: Must hold an RT(R) or RCIS, or ARRT-R radiography or other imaging credential; ACLS and BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer; additional credentials may be required (ARRT-R, CCDS, CEPS, MRT, RCIS, RCES, CCPS). On-Call: Available for on-call per facility/department policy. Knowledge: Complex invasive cardiac and vascular procedures, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. On/Off-Site Details

Two years of cath lab, EP, or vascular experience preferred; willingness to cross-train IR tech. Ability to monitor patient ECG, pressures, and physiology during procedures; maintain sterile fields and document procedures accurately. Additional Information
