Overview The respiratory Therapist LRT evaluates and administers therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Marshall Medical Centers is an affiliate of the Huntsville Hospital Health System and serves the residents of Marshall County and surrounding area (population approximately 125,000). The centers include two hospitals, eight outpatient locations, a variety of specialty clinics, and a comprehensive 22,000‑sq‑ft Cancer Care Center.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders; deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory services; manage life support equipment and interventions; collaborate with the interdisciplinary medical team; document patient data accurately; educate patients and families about respiratory therapy.

Qualifications

Valid Alabama license to practice Respiratory Care.

BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire.
