Overview Job Summary and Responsibilities: Analyzing lab testing is complex. We rely on the knowledge and skills of our medical technologists to evaluate medical lab tests, determine patient status, and accurately analyze and report results according to procedures and regulatory guidelines. What You’ll Do
Appropriately perform and report a variety of matched, moderately and highly complex test procedures
Provide excellent patient care throughout the laboratory process within established turnaround times
Assist in upkeep and maintenance of major automated equipment
Perform proficiency testing as assigned, and participate in opportunities for continued education or training
Complete all work and resolve or escalate issues as needed
Adhere to all regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
May consider MLT qualified candidates for similar positions
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Science or Medical Technology, or related field defined by CLIA
Preferred: Certified as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Technologist by ASCP
Appropriately trained in clinical lab science
Position may be filled as MLT Med Lab Tech for qualified applicants
