Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Tele Float Pool Location: Helena, Montana (Zip: 59601) Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel / Contract Contract Length: 13–15 weeks Start Date: September 21, 2025 End Date: January 3, 2026 Shift: 12-hour nights (3 shifts per week) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Unit: Float Pool (Medical, Surgical, Oncology) Patient Ratios: 1:5–6 EMR System: Epic Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1,980–$2,030 RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana or a compact state Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience Prior travel nursing experience required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required Ability to float between medical, surgical, and oncology units Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills Epic EMR experience preferred RN Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced float pool environment Float between medical, surgical, and oncology units as needed Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress using Epic EMR Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Deliver compassionate support and education to patients and families Benefits
