At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Feeding Therapists (Speech Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist) is critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. We are unable to support a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF) candidate in this position.
What You Can Expect As a Pediatric Feeding Therapist
Work with pediatric patients with feeding difficulties
Patient demographics will include treating patients 0-18 years old with feeding/dysphagia needs and a variety of developmental and neurological diagnoses
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
Clinic Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; schedule to be determined
Qualifications
Education: Degree from an accredited speech therapy or occupational therapy program
Licenses/Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
Occupational Therapist:
Valid license to practice occupational therapy in state of practice
Speech Language Pathologist:
Either Speech Language Pathologist Provisional Permit to practice in the state of Idaho OR Speech Language Pathologist License to practice in the state of Idaho AND Certified ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
Preferred Qualification: 1 year of pediatric feeding therapy experience
