COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Join the Blue Bird Day team as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. We are a multi-disciplinary team of providers, collaborating to provide an individualized treatment approach that recognizes each child's individual needs and personality. Responsibilities include: Maintaining a caseload of individual therapy sessions, small group sessions, and daily case management tasks. Completing daily treatment notes, daily data input and analysis, evaluations, plan of care documents, and other documentation as needed within required time frame. Participating in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family, including weekly emails, phone calls, and in-person discussions. Establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed. Our therapies are offered in a preschool-like setting, and our collaborative team provides occupational, physical, speech, developmental, ABA, and other therapies to help our clients reach their unique goals.
