HealthPro Heritage is seeking a part-time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our therapy team in Myrtle Beach, SC, within our Long Term Care division at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This flexible, as‑needed position is ideal for therapists looking to make a meaningful impact with scheduling that fits their lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech‑language pathology services, including evaluation and treatment of communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support resident goals and functional outcomes.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic, resident‑centered care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation and communicate progress effectively.
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
Implement evidence‑based therapies, monitor and adjust treatment plans, and educate patients and families on disorders and strategies.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care.

Qualifications
Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist, or license‑eligible.
Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist and certification from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC‑SLP).
Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
