Responsibilities
Providing excellent healthcare, ensuring good patient outcomes and satisfaction
Patient treatment, addressing concerns, and educating on injuries and progress
Supervising aides during modalities and setup/cleanup duties
Re-evaluating patient progress and updating plans of care
Determining discharge readiness
Timely, accurate documentation
Maintaining productivity levels (55-60 treatments/evaluations weekly)
Developing protocols for common diagnoses
Participating in research studies
Continuing professional development through courses and education
Qualifications
Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant
Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives
