Position Highlights:
The Case Manager coordinates the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of care, promotes effective utilization and monitoring of healthcare resources, maintains an accurate knowledge base of payer information for team collaboration, and assumes a leadership role within the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. The Case Manager represents the department in meetings with senior administration and provides expert services to all departments within the organization. The Case Manager demonstrates ongoing leadership within the hospital, community, and professional organizations as required. The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: BSN Minimum 5 years of related experience in healthcare Recent case management experience Demonstrated experience in oncology nursing, utilization review, quality management, and/or case management. Computer literate with knowledge of cost accounting, financial data analysis, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, third-party reimbursement, medical record coding, and pricing of services.
