ProSidian is seeking a Lead Shelter Technician | Animal Services [COC0086283] for Program Support on an Exempt 1099 Contract basis—no overtime pay. The technical role is generally located across the CONUS, primarily in Charlotte, NC, supporting the Mid Atlantic Region. We are looking for 283 candidates with relevant Government and Public Services Sector experience, including functional and technical expertise, to support professional services engagements for clients such as COC. The position may be offered as a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099). ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time W-2 position. Job Overview

Provide services and support as an Animal Shelter Operations Lead Shelter Technician, focusing on Human Capital Solutions for clients like the City of Charlotte (COC) and Charlotte Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (CCPA), generally located in CONUS—Charlotte, NC, and across the Mid Atlantic Region. Responsibilities and Duties

Supervise kennel aides and animal care staff. Coordinate feeding, cleaning, and enrichment schedules. Manage intake and release processes. Monitor animal health and coordinate with veterinary teams. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. The role is based in the Mid Atlantic Region, initially at 678 East 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202, with potential for remote work or location changes. Qualifications

Candidates should have: Strong animal care experience and leadership skills. High school diploma or equivalent; advanced training preferred. 3–5 years in animal care, shelter, or veterinary settings. This position supports the Government and Public Services Sector, focusing on service delivery excellence through innovation and partnership. Candidates will support Animal Services Functional Area services and work as Lead Shelter Technicians. Skills and Competencies

Leadership, record management, animal handling. Problem-solving, adaptability, empathy. Additional competencies include developing staff training, overseeing quarantine procedures, and reporting to the Animal Care Supervisor. Other Details
