Job Title: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse – Travel Nurse Location: Springfield, Illinois 62769 Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date: October 13, 2025 End Date: March 15, 2026 Contract Duration: 22 weeks Hours per Week: 36 Nursing Shift: 12-hour night shifts (NOC), every other weekend Estimated Weekly Salary: $2050 - $2200 Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Illinois RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Level 1 trauma center experience preferred) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Springfield, IL Ability to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of application MICU RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit Monitor, assess, and respond to patient emergencies and implement appropriate interventions Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and families to coordinate patient care Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards Apply & Benefits
