About the Role As a Licensed Eligible Therapist, you will manage a diverse caseload of managed-care clients facing mental illness and co-occurring substance-related disorders. You will provide individual, group, and family therapy, conduct initial assessments, and apply complex theoretical approaches. Your focus will be on addressing immediate psychiatric crises within a multidisciplinary team and supporting the 24-hour program with educational and peer recovery services.
Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments and create comprehensive treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices.
Supervise and mentor other staff, ensuring quality client care.
Maintain up-to-date clinical records and prepare diagnostic reports.
Offer educational sessions and peer recovery services as part of the 24-hour program.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Minimum one year of clinical experience in therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
License-eligible for PC or LCSW; must provide proof of registration for licensure supervision within 90 days of employment.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficiency with electronic health record systems and clinical documentation software.
Strong decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to develop tailored therapeutic programs and exercise proactive crisis management.
Completion of a criminal history fingerprint background check, DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening, and employment reference checks.
