Overview

Fred Finch Youth & Family Services is a great place to work. Our Wrap Connections program supports youth and their families using an evidence-based model that is family-centered, culturally/linguistically responsive and community-based. The Wrap Connections program is seeking BBS registered clinicians to join a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based wraparound services to children and youth ages 5-18 years. You will gain hours toward licensure while becoming trained in specific clinical modalities, learn medical documentation standards, and have opportunities for professional growth. Join our team as:

Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities

Provide clinical assessment (diagnosis, behavioral health assessments, client plan and progress notes) through a trauma-informed lens. Deliver therapeutic-based services and case management to a diverse population of at-risk youth, young adults, and families. Cover shifts: Full Time – afternoon and evenings required. Hybrid with clinical services provided in the community. Benefits

Required

M.A. Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited college or university. Registered associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC with relevant experience) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Some programs may require registered status within six months after hire. If working in a program licensed by Community Care Licensing, must meet minimum training and experience requirements. Demonstrated knowledge in diagnostic assessment and evidence-based behavioral treatment methods for the target population. Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment and community-based interventions. Cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities. Clean driving record and a California Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hire. Ability to secure dependable transportation; personal car insurance with minimum liability coverage if driving is required. Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office and electronic clinical documentation systems.

Preferred

One year of graduate school or post-graduate experience with the program target population (e.g., intellectually disabled, homeless, teens or young adults, seriously emotionally disturbed). Strength-based, culturally responsive, trauma-informed supervision and service approach to support recovery, health, and wellness. Strong behavioral, crisis management, and family/individual/group therapy skills. Fluency in the prevailing language(s) of the community.
