Park Royal Hospital is a brand new, state of the art facility outfitted with cutting edge technology and safety features. Our private free-standing 126-bed psychiatric hospital provides life-changing care for adults 18 years and older and senior adults. Inpatient and outpatient treatment is provided for depression, anxiety, mood disorders, memory problems, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mental illnesses as well as co-occurring substance use disorders. Available shifts: Full-Time - Night Shift. Sign-on bonus available for full-time employment where applicable. Park Royal Hospital is part of Acadia Healthcare. Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Provide nursing care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice and in accordance with the plan of care and facility policies. Monitor patient health and administer basic care using the nursing process to meet care plan objectives. Model professional behavior, prioritize patient safety, and demonstrate urgency in response to patient needs. Collaborate with the care team to meet physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs; acknowledge and help resolve patient concerns or complaints. Provide basic comfort measures and implement nursing interventions individualized to patient needs. Progress patients toward wellness and maintain wellness as planned in the care plan. Discuss care with patients, listen to concerns, and report status changes to registered nurses and physicians. Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, coworkers, and others involved in treatment. Ensure safe medication delivery in accordance with policies, physician orders, and current practice. Maintain professional nursing standards in line with facility policies and external governing/certification bodies. Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress accurately and thoroughly. Qualifications / Education / Experience

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. One or more years of nursing experience in a clinical area related to the facility is preferred. Licenses / Certifications

Current LPN/LVN license as required by state. CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements. Other Information
