Achieving Better Coping Skills LLC - Direct Care Position (BHT) *Looking for employees with Trauma-Informed Care Experience with youth
Primary Needs: Weekdays - First, Second, 10 Hour Shifts Weekend Shifts - Friday, Saturday & Sunday (12-hour shifts) - Overnight Other (12-hour AM shifts available)
A. Fundamental Purpose of the position: To provide professional-level assistance and support services for youth between the ages of 9 to 18+ in the following areas:
Assisting with daily living skill-building: cooking, cleaning, learning, socializing, and time management.
Prevention of violent or harmful behaviors to self or others.
Behavior management crises, skills, and activity supervision.
Symptomatology of youth diagnosed with behavioral disorders or addictions.
Knowledge of indications, typical side effects, reactions, and interactions of medications prescribed for self-administration by youth.
Resources for obtaining assistance when needed.
Youth record-keeping of youth activities and progress toward treatment goals and objectives.
Skills include recreational and social activities, Life Skills Training, and Milieu activities.
Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 or older.
Must be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid training.
Must possess an Arizona State Driver's License.
Must pass a Department of Public Safety Finger Print background check.
Must receive an annual tuberculin test or provide a written statement from a physician made within six months before employment with negative results.
Must have a physical exam signed by a physician (proof of annual exam required).
Must pass a drug screening test.
Must speak English and be able to comprehend and infer from written material in English.
