Child and Family Mental Health Provider - 5 West Inpatient Med/Psych Unit Clinician Location: Adele Hall Campus | Schedule: Flexible scheduling available, including the option to work four 10-hour shifts. Weekend coverage may be required. As part of our commitment to transforming pediatric mental health care, Children's Mercy is expanding services through the Illuminate Initiative. We seek a skilled and empathetic master's-level clinician to join the 5West Inpatient Med/Psych Unit to provide evidence-based therapy (individual, group, and caregiver-focused) in an acute care setting. You will be part of a collaborative team of clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses, and behavioral health technicians, supporting patients during critical moments in their care journey. Child and Family Therapy Service Provision and Documentation: Provide evidence-based mental health treatments to patients and families within the assigned clinical area. Case Management and Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong partnerships, including communication with referral sources and service providers. Professional Development: Demonstrate active involvement and leadership within the team, department, and hospital by attending meetings and educational opportunities, serving as a consultant where appropriate. Qualifications

Master's Degree required upon hire Licensed Master’s Social Worker (KS or MO) required upon hire For Kansas: LMSW (KS) or LSCSW/LCPC; for Missouri: LMSW/LCSW or LPC upon hire, with requirement to obtain the other state license within 90 days Advantageous licenses: LCSW MO, LSCSW KS, KS LCPC, MO LPC with cross-state licensing requirements outlined above Benefits at Children's Mercy
