Radiologic Technologist Urgent Care - AdventHealth Centra Care Location: Opportunities at centers in Lake, Orange, and Seminole County. Clermont, Leesburg, Tavares, Mount Dora, Apopka, Altamonte, Dr. Phillips, Winter Garden, Ocoee, Winter Park, Lake Mary, Longwood, Oviedo, Sanford and Orlando. Schedule: Full Time. Shift: Full time; Rotating schedule, two days on, two days off (Monday-Thursday 8am-8pm), split Fridays (usually 8am-2pm or 2pm-8pm), alternate weekends (hours 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays), and some holidays. Role purpose: The Radiologic Technologist cares for patients and performs a wide variety of patient care activities, including laboratory testing and radiographic exams. Adheres to state, federal and organizational guidelines to ensure quality care and patient safety with support from the Clinical Excellence team. Maintains organization and facilitates patient flow. Participates in outstanding customer service and maintains respectful relationships with all. Responsibilities

Performs basic radiological examinations, including quality controls and clerical duties. Processes reference laboratory specimens including venipuncture, specimen handling/labeling, and tracking results. Documents and reports all procedures and assessments in accordance with department policy. Assesses patients during clinical check-in using age-specific guidelines, documents pertinent medical information and vital signs. Assesses for signs of abuse or neglect. Completes general orders and follow-up assessments ordered by the provider; responds appropriately in clinical emergencies and triage situations. Maintains patient flow and contributes to a positive patient experience in line with AdventHealth core values. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Current Florida State license General Radiographer (RT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Continued maintenance BAT Certification Continued maintenance of Drug Screen Certification Preferred Qualifications Previous Radiologic Technologist experience Previous urgent care / ED experience Additional Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent CPR Certification Current State license (if applicable for state) – General Radiographer (RT) and/or ARRT Credential in Radiography Ability to operate radiographic equipment and work with electrical and radiant energy Comprehensive knowledge of general radiographic procedures Benefits and Other Information
