Sanford Middle School is seeking a dedicated Educational Technician I, II, or III to join our team in the Special Education Self-Contained Program. This program serves students with significant academic and functional skill deficits, including communication and regulation challenges, who are working below the level of their same-age peers. Responsibilities
Supporting the classroom teacher in implementing individualized lessons and goals Collecting and maintaining daily data on student skill acquisition Assisting students as they transition within the school building Promoting a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment Qualifications
Current Ed Tech I, II, or III certification or eligibility to obtain certification Maine CHRC/Fingerprinting approval (or willingness to obtain) Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and demonstrate compassion for students The Ideal Candidate Will
