In-patient medical care: administer medications, assist or perform treatments, diagnostics & monitoring, place IV catheters, draw blood, run lab tests, administer IV fluids, care for and monitor patients as needed. Anesthesia/Surgery: prepare, induce, maintain, monitor, and recover patients; clean, maintain, and sterilize anesthesia equipment and surgical instruments. Dentistry: provide patient dental care, ultrasonic cleaning and polishing; assist doctor with dental surgery. Radiology: position patients and assist with radiographs, sending radiographs via email. Laboratory duties: collect, prepare, run or submit samples for requested tests; read and record results as indicated. Client communication for hospitalized patients: provide updates, discharge instructions, and follow-up as appropriate. Outpatient support: assist with outpatient appointments, check-in/check-out, vitals, history collection, and data entry into the patient record. Training and mentoring: assist in training and mentoring new team members. Inventory control: monitor stock levels and assist with restocking. Preparing prescriptions and medication refills. Schedule & Compensation
Hours: 32-34 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm; every other Saturday with a half-day off during the week; extended shifts 7:30 am-6:00 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. Pay: $22-$25/hour, based on experience. Perks & Benefits

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, surgery, dental, and nursing skills. Ability to stay patient and composed in a fast-paced or stressful environment; able to handle medical crises calmly. Ability to administer SQ, IM, and IV injections; knowledge of drug usage, dosage, and side effects; ability to explain them to clients. Knowledge of anesthesia and recovery; ability to monitor and communicate concerns to veterinarians. Ability to extubate, monitor temperature, and recover patients from anesthesia. Strong reasoning, memory,数学 (math), and English communication skills; confident around pets. Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required. State licensing required. 1+ year of veterinary industry experience required. Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50+ pounds with assistance. Ability to endure extended periods of standing/walking on hard surfaces; capable of working in a noisy environment with animals and equipment. Exposure to pets, anesthesia, radiation, biological hazards, and medications; appropriate PPE and safety protocols required. Good hearing, vision, and hand-eye coordination; ability to use keyboards and medical equipment. Travel
