NEW GRADUATE RECRUITMENT NOTES: We have full time, part time, and per diem opportunities across the UVM Health Network.
Shifts will vary based on department needs.
Starting pay will vary based on the organization within the network for which you are hired - the recruiter can share this information with you.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Radiology Technologists will demonstrate progressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a radiologist, supervisor, and lead technologists.
Our X-ray Techs assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed.
Radiologic Technologists may be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
Licensed with the State of Vermont or State of New York to practice in Radiology prior to start date.
ARRT Certification will be required as well.
