The Role You'll Contribute Responsible for coordinating the care and service of selected patient populations across the continuum of illness. This position promotes effective utilization of healthcare resources and monitors their use to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes. Additionally, this role collaborates with patients, families, physicians, administration, and associates to meet customer needs, ensure safe patient care, evaluate interventions, and forecast resource needs. In addition, this position uses critical thinking skills and the nursing process to ensure optimal patient outcomes and maintain a positive work environment. Responsibilities for this role include overseeing patient care activities, managing resources, and leading the interdisciplinary team to achieve desired outcomes.
The Value You'll Bring To The Team
Coordinate patient care across various departments, including PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical orders.
Monitor patient progress, continuously assess and document patient progress, and adjust care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, anesthesiologists, and other providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
Required Qualifications
Associate of Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – from the American Heart Association (AHA)
A minimum of 1 year of recent Behavioral Health experience
