Job Summary The School of Nursing and Health Science seeks a dynamic Radiologic Science Clinical Instructional Assistant to provide teaching and evaluation for radiologic science students in both practice and simulated settings.
Responsibilities
Supervise clinical/laboratory practice experiences.
Evaluate student clinical performance and achievement of required competencies.
Adhere to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences and the Department of Radiologic Sciences guidelines, protocols, and policies.
Attend scheduled Department meetings as needed.
Travel to various clinical facilities.
Hold a Position of Trust.
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences.
Other Required Qualifications
Current registration in radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current health care provider CPR certification and immunizations.
Valid driver’s license.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a radiographer.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience
Baccalaureate degree.
Additional modality credentialing.
Proposed Salary
$35.00 per hour with an Associate degree.
$40.00 per hour with a Baccalaureate degree.
$45.00 per hour with a Master’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of students.
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
