Arbor Psychology Group has multiple locations in South‑East Michigan. The Pediatric Speech‑Language Pathologist position is for the Ann Arbor location only.

Our mental health team often works with our speech‑language therapist and occupational therapists to provide multidisciplinary, comprehensive treatment. Feels comfortable at effectively evaluating and treating a variety of speech, language, social‑pragmatic, and feeding disorders including: articulation/phonological disorders, language delays/disorders, autism spectrum disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, fluency disorders, voice disorders, feeding/swallowing difficulties, social communication disorders, and literacy challenges.
Loves collaboration, learning from others, and supporting others. Someone who can’t wait to share ideas or get feedback on tricky cases. Someone who is open and non‑defensive. When they are presented with an idea they haven’t thought about before, their reaction is an eager, “Tell me more!”

SLP specializes in feeding therapy! This therapist totally geeks out on reading about pediatric feeding therapy, talking about feeding skills, learning new strategies to support feeding skills, and helping patients learn to love eating.
Responsibilities The SLP will be responsible for treating young children through adolescents with a wide variety of diagnoses; many of the cases will focus on either feeding skills. The SLP will provide direct patient care utilizing evidence based practices and will work collaboratively with patients, caregivers, other members of APG’s mental health team, and outside providers. The majority of the work will be intervention/treatment with some assessment and school consultation.
Time Commitment:
This position is a flexible part‑time position. The SLP will contract for up to 6‑8 clinical (face‑to‑face) hours to fall either within 3‑7 pm on weekdays or any time on a weekend day. Opportunity to grow into a full‑time position, if desired.
Requirements / Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program required.
Current Michigan State Speech Language Pathologist license required.
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence required.
SLP must be proficient in the administration and interpretation of the following standardized assessments:
Goldman Fristoe Test of Articulation, 3rd Edition (GFTA‑3)
Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals, 5th Edition (CELF‑5)
Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals Preschool, 3rd Edition (CELF‑P3)
SLP must have specialized expertise in providing evidence based feeding therapy. SLP must be competent in evidence‑based treatments including the SOS approach, food‑chaining, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, etc.
Proficient understanding of diagnoses and ability to participate on a diagnostic team.
Must provide own liability insurance.
This is a flexible Independent Contractor position.
Compensation is highly competitive. Starting fee‑split of 60% of collected fees.
Ability to work autonomously with as much or as little clinical‑support desired.
