Lab Technologist I or II Role at Cincinnati Children’s Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development.

Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM and rotating weekends.

Job Responsibilities

Departmental Support: conduct, direct or assist in special projects, evaluations, experiments, or research. Participate in cross‑trained rotations and demonstrate continued competency in various clinical laboratory sections.

Technical Skills and Knowledge: independently perform a variety of laboratory tests, operate instruments, maintain quality control procedures, calibrate equipment, troubleshoot, prepare reagents and samples, and train bench personnel.

Customer Service: maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, respond promptly to requests and communicate relevant information.

Professional Development: maintain necessary licensure/certification, engage in continuing education, attend mandatory training, and pursue professional growth.

Quality and Accountability: perform accurate work with low error rates, comply with policies and accreditation standards, document compliance, and support internal and external inspections.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological science or associate degree in a related science.

Lab Technician I – 0‑2 years of experience.

Lab Technician II – 2+ years of experience (or 4 years with associate degree).

Preferred Qualifications

Certified MLS or MLT via national certifying agency.

Primary Location Liberty, LA

Schedule Part‑time, Day shift (United States).
