Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of dental systems, dental terminology, and proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to promote optimal oral health and educate patients on preventive care.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and other relevant systems.
Prepare and manage medical imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
Familiarity with dental imaging processes is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
