Responsible for obtaining vascular imaging in areas such as

extra cranial cerebrovascular, peripheral arterial physiologic, peripheral arterial duplex, venous duplex ultrasound, and visceral vascular duplex ultrasound.

This position performs complex professional assessments in peripheral vascular studies, requiring advanced knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and disease processes. The sonographer must analyze image quality, adapt procedures as needed, and operate ultrasound equipment proficiently. Reports are generated using an EMR system. This role reports to the Manager of Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Services and supports the Vascular Technical Specialist in accreditation and daily operations. Primary Job Responsibilities: Produce acceptable images as requested by physicians, providing preliminary impressions. Verify physician orders, document procedure completion, ensure proper patient identification and preparation, including age-specific needs. Maintain accurate records of patient status and history, and communicate findings to physicians. Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans accordingly. Participate in committees, policy development, and professional organizations. Demonstrate problem-solving, reasoning, and evidence-based practice skills. Mentor peers, patients, and community members. Minimum Qualifications:

Certification from an accredited Sonography program is required. Must be ARDMS registered in at least one area. RVT preferred but must be registry eligible and take the exam within one year of hire. BLS certification is also required. Salary Range: $36.86 - $60.51 Pay Grade: 36 Compensation varies based on experience, qualifications, shift, and location. Seniority level
