Position Summary Unison Health is seeking Contingent Registered Nurses (RN) to work in a behavioral health stabilization center. This role provides direct nursing services to clients, collaborates with physicians and APRNs, and implements best practices in stabilization care. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of mental illness, crisis intervention experience, and the ability to establish therapeutic relationships with clients. This is a part‑time, day‑shift position with 12‑hour shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights
Provide direct nursing services to clients in accordance with agency and program policies, procedures, and client needs.
Assess each client’s status, interpret data, and determine age‑appropriate care requirements.
Administer injections, medications, vaccines, and other nursing services as necessary.
Support and assist the crisis team with de‑escalation of patients experiencing crises.
Thoroughly document all aspects of patient care provided.
Education & Experience Requirements
Current RN license from the State of Ohio.
Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Must obtain BLS, First Aid, and CPI certification following hire.
Demonstrated knowledge of mental illness and ability to establish therapeutic relationships.
Experience working with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, or at times hostile individuals.
Ability to work weekend and holiday rotation.
