Position Summary
This position will serve as an Associate Clinical Research Coordinator within the Multisystems Stress Response in Adolescents Research Project, which is a multidisciplinary psychiatry research project focused on examining neurobiological and physiological signatures of stress response profiles that contribute to anhedonia in adolescents. The Associate Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for the execution of clinical research protocols, including leading efforts in gathering, compiling, and reporting data for a variety of research studies.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Demonstrated strong project organization skills. Must be able to use considerable judgement and skills in performing work assignments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally. Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Proficient with Redcap, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word. Prior experience assisting in the development of IRB applications and other regulatory documents. Proficient in developing standard operating procedures and other study protocol documents. Demonstrated previous experience working with adolescents in a healthcare or research setting is required. Previous experience as a clinical research coordinator or similar role in a research or healthcare setting, preferably in the field of psychiatry, adolescent mental health, or substance abuse research.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Proficiency in using electronic data capture systems and statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R), familiarity with diagnostic criteria for anxiety disorders (DSM-5 or ICD-11), and experience using standardized assessment tools is strongly preferred.
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Mental and emotional capacity to work with a clinically high-risk adolescent population in a dynamic research environment while maintaining ethical conduct and commitment to participant safety, confidentiality, and data privacy, with or without accommodation.
