Mental Health Crisis Specialist - QMHP

The Crisis Specialist QMHP - Office or Residential Based is responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. The QMHP performs case management, assessment, and/or service coordination work based on program guidelines. Duties may include providing continuity of care services, linking consumers and families to resources, coordinating, monitoring, and updating services and consumer goals. Providing skills training, assisting in crisis prevention, and community outreach are additional roles. As a team member of crisis services programs, the QMHP coordinates crisis intervention tools to address client needs using assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, and efficient, clinically appropriate utilization of agency resources. Responsibilities include collaboration with consumers, first responders, and community stakeholders to address immediate mental health crises and plan for future crisis relapse prevention. This position follows identified strategies for achieving unit performance measures and ensures the highest quality of care while effectively utilizing resources. This position may carry an individual caseload. On-call responsibilities may be required depending on unit protocols. Regular, predictable attendance is considered essential. Other duties may be assigned. A trauma-sensitive workplace and trauma-informed practices are expected. Education Required: Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. License Current and valid driver\'s license and a clean driving record. Experience Preferred: Previous behavioral health experience. Hours: Full-Time. Workdays: Monday - Friday. Workhours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Salary:
$24.18 - $25.39 per hour
