Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel IR Tech assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers small amounts of radioactive substances called radiopharmaceuticals, as well as other medications, to patients for diagnosis and treatments.
