RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Highly dedicated Registered Nurse for our Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Department at the New Brunswick campus. Job Title: RN Location: Morris Cancer Center Department: Special Procedures-Radiology Req #: 0000212599 Status: Part-Time (Hourly), Day shift Location details: 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901
Responsibilities
Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. Ensure safety in practice and advance knowledge of patient care through evidence-based practice and collaboration with the care team. Report identified safety issues and medical errors. Demonstrate knowledge of the patient population served. Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members; collaborate with other care providers. Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Utilize the nursing process to integrate care and individualize the plan of care for each patient.
Qualifications
Required: ASN or Nursing Diploma At least 2 years of RN experience in Critical Care Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred: BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire Radiology Special Procedures experience
Certifications and Licenses
BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling
Day Shift, 36 hours per week, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Monday – Friday, some weekend rotation On Call Hours Part-Time
